Migrating Medication History (MedHx) API to new platform (Production: 2/14/2023).

Dear Valued Partner,

DrFirst will be migrating services for MedHx API, DrFirst’s API for medication history services (Production: 2/14/2023).

DrFirst will be migrating to a new hosting platform, thereby changing the underlying service IP address. Please review the changes listed below carefully to ensure there is no disruption of services after the migration.

DNS Change:
This migration involves changing IPs for listed services’ DNS. DrFirst will reduce the DNS TTL (time-to-live) to around 30 seconds for quicker propagation, so please ensure your DNS setup honors the TTL to avoid any issues.

IP Change:
If your networking team is currently whitelisting DrFirst at a domain level (e.g., .drfirst.com), then NO action is needed as the DrFirst domains are NOT changing.

If your networking team uses IP addresses for whitelisting DrFirst, then in addition to currently whitelisted subnets, please ADD 2 more IP addresses.

Environment: Staging
Current Subnet Whitelist Requirement: 207.114.91.0/24 and 208.255.169.0/24
Additional IPs to be Whitelisted: 45.60.233.33 and 45.60.233.35

Environment: Production
Current Subnet Whitelist Requirement: 207.117.57.0/24 and 65.221.4.0/24
Additional IPs to be Whitelisted: 45.60.233.33 and 45.60.233.35

To avoid any abrupt service disruption, DrFirst will NOT shut down the IP addresses currently serving the URL. A hard cut-off date will be communicated separately.
